A major London Underground station has been closed because it’s too busy. Videos from King’s Cross station this morning show commuters pouring out of the busy terminus.
TfL has confirmed the closure is in place to ‘stop overcrowding’.
Commuter Matthew Ruddle posted a video of passengers being directed out of the station to an alarm overhead. He said: “FYI for anyone London commuting, Kings Cross St. Pancras Train and Tube stations have just been evacuated.
“Due to a reported emergency, would all passengers leave the station immediately please.”
TfL has confirmed that the station has now reopened.
