King Charles's royal Land Rover could be yours as it goes up for sale at auction

The royal Land Rover, previously owned by the then-Prince Charles, has been offered for sale at a motoring auction. The car, which is currently on its third owner in Ilminster, has now racked up 117,816 miles. Whilst handling the sale, Collecting Cars described the vehicle as “a handsome example of the Land Rover Discovery 3, with excellent documented royal provenance”.

It runs on a mixture of 8 percent bioethanol and 15 percent unleaded petrol.

The King is typically known for his passion for various environmental issues.

The 74-year-old has championed tackling climate change, organic farming and global warming.

The King’s previous vocal stances on issues, such as these, have previously prompted some criticism

This is due to the fact member of the Royal Family usually remain politically neutral at all times.

When he ascended the throne last September, many wondered whether these issues would remain high on his priority list.
