She said: “One idea might be for the King and William (and Kate when she feels able) to connect with charities etc via video link – as they all did during the pandemic.
“It was very effective — highlighting the causes they support and at the same time keeping the Royal Family in the public eye.
“It also gave us some wonderful fairly informal moments as we ‘eavesdropped’ on their conversations. So… more of that, please!”
Princess Kate led an online school assembly on spreading kindness for the Oak National Academy – an online classroom and resource hub created by teachers – during the pandemic.
She said on the virtual meeting: “Today, I wanted to talk to you about the importance of being kind and looking after one other,” and added “We all have our ups and downs especially when things change in our lives as they have in so many ways recently.”
