Israeli forces kill senior Hezbollah commander in massive blow for terror group

Israel has confirmed the death of senior Hezbollah commander Ali Ahmed Hassin.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) killed the commander in a successful strike on Monday in southern Lebanon.

Hassin held a position equivalent to a brigade commander was reportedly responsible for attacks on northern Israel’s Ramin Ridge during the ongoing war with Hamas.

The IDF said: “As part of his role, he was responsible for the planning and execution of terror attacks in the Ramim Ridge area against the Israeli home front.”

They also claimed to have killed two other Hezbollah members in the strike on as-Sultaniyah, Lebanon. Hassin was killed “on the road to Jerusalem,” according to Hezbollah, who use this phrase to denote being killed by Israel.
