Inside Prince William's £1.3m holiday home where he takes Kate and the kids

Prince Charles’s £1.3m Duchy of Cornwall Cottage is the “most affordable Royal residence”.

Prince William came into a grand collection of properties when his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, passed away last September. These estates were handed down from his father, King Charles III, along with the Duke of Cornwall title.

Tamarisk House on the Isles of Scilly, just off the coast of Cornwall, is the most affordable among them and the least pricey of all the Royal properties.

It’s thought to be worth a relatively modest £1.3 million, especially when compared to Buckingham Palace, which is valued at a whopping £1.3 billion.

A spokesperson said: “Tamarisk House on the Isles of Scilly, is the cheapest royal residence to rent, costing a little over £14,000 a month. The property is valued at a comparatively modest £1.3million and would cost just over £171,000 a year to rent.”

The four-bedroom property on St. Mary’s can accommodate up to eight guests. The living room offers stunning views of the blue sea and local flora. It also has board games, a TV, and other fun activities, making it an ideal spot for the young royals.

The bedrooms are spacious with large beds and armchairs, decorated in neutral colours to suit all preferences. One of the bathrooms boasts a free-standing bath and a double sink.

Pictures of the Cornwall countryside adorn the walls, reflecting the beautiful surroundings. The gardens are equally impressive, complete with a barbecue for summer enjoyment.
