This is the insane moment one of Russia’s $500million T-72 tanks are blown to pieces by in a massive explosion that sent its turret flying 100ft into the sky.

The latest blow for Vladimir Putin occurred after the expensive weaponry came under fire from a Ukrainian kamikaze drone in the key war battleground of Bakhmut.

The video shows the drone zeroing in on the enemy tank that had been firing at Ukrainian soldiers.

Suddenly, it slams into the costly T-72 tank and the clip turns grey and pixelated following the monumental collision.

The video then cuts to an aerial view where huge clouds of smoke are seen emanating from the massive fireball, with the turret launched some 100ft above the battlefield.
