Skeletal remains of a baby boy were found in a suitcase tucked away in an attic in a semi-detached house in Stockport.
Shockingly, investigations revealed that the infant could have died as long ago as 1959.
However, police have not been able to ascertain the precise time of death. And a Home Office pathologist was also unable to determine the infant’s cause of death.
The gruesome discovery was made on Berwick Avenue on March 6 last year and an inquest has now been opened into the young boy’s tragic death.
