“And then he’s going to go back to LA because, with the time difference, he hopes to apparently make it back in time for Archie’s birthday.”
She told TalkTV: “It’s Archie’s fourth birthday and that’s the reason why Meghan said she’s not coming. He’s coming because his father wants him to.”
The Duke last year spent part of Archie’s third birthday playing polo.
But this year the royal, who is expected to fly back to London on a commercial flight, could make it back to his Montecito home in the early evening of May 6 and still celebrate his son thanks to the eight-hour time difference.
One insider told Page Six: “Harry’s going to make every effort to get back in time for Archie’s birthday.
“It’s going to be an intimate party, it’s not going to be like ‘My Super Sweet 16’ or Portia de Rossi’s 50th!”
And anyone hoping for a royal reconciliation on Coronation day has been advised the time constraints will prevent Harry from having any kind of talk with senior royals he and Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex slighted since they stepped down from their roles.
The Duke, however, has managed to hold talks with the King, 74, in the run-up to the ceremony, with Andrews suggesting the “green shoots of reconciliation” are a positive sign.
She continued: “I don’t think we should think that Harry has gone down on bended knees on the phone and apologised to…’hello, Pa, I’m so sorry for everything I said.’
“That hasn’t happened. What has happened is that Charles and Harry had a conversation about Charles’s May 6 Coronation and Harry graciously accepted.
“This was after his people had spoken to Buckingham Palace people about what the event would entail, security at Westminster Abbey.
“There’s been some reporting that Harry complained about where he may or may not be seated, other people reported that no, that’s completely wrong.”
She added: “But I think the core thing to take away is that it’s really good that Charles and Harry have spoken but royal sources also said there’s no real time at the Coronation for any kind of make-up chat which, of course, takes a lot of William.
“And it’s definitely true to say, everything I’ve been told Harry and William haven’t spoken since the Queen’s funeral and, frankly, William doesn’t want to speak to his brother.”
