Flight attendant kicks wild couple off plane as 'drunk' mum pulls odd stunt

This is the moment a Southwest Airlines flight attendant kicked a couple off a plane for allegedly performing drunken cartwheels in an airport terminal.

During the confrontation, captured on video and shared on YouTube and Reddit, a Southwest Airlines flight attendant argues with the couple, repeatedly explaining why they are not allowed to board the aircraft.

The incident in June has since garnered significant attention, with most Redditers siding with the flight attendant.

It spans over three and a half minutes and begins with the unidentified attendant instructing the couple to “walk away.”

The tense exchange between the flight attendant and the passengers continues when the man off-camera says the flight attendant is “shaking”.

In the video, the flight attendant repeatedly emphasizes that their behaviour is “jeopardising the safety of this aircraft.”

The flight attendant says: “You’re flipping all over the ground, you’re engaging, you’re loud, you want attention from everybody…The whole entire crew saw it, and all of us are in agreement that you cannot come on here.”

The couple’s identities remain undisclosed, and it is unclear whether they faced any further consequences related to the incident.

It sparked a heated discussion among online users who observed the woman’s alleged state of inebriation and slurred speech throughout.

Despite the flight attendant’s efforts to maintain control of the situation, the woman attempts to justify her “cartwheels and backbends” in the airport.

The woman said she is a teacher and that she was just doing the cartwheels to entertain a child. She also said she only had one glass of wine.

She said: “So anybody who’s had one glass cannot get onto this plane.”

The flight attendant responded: “Anybody who is exhibiting behavior of being intoxicated is not allowed to come onto an aircraft.”

The video quickly gained notoriety on various social media platforms, particularly on X (formerly Twitter). Users shared a range of reactions, with some expressing support for the flight attendant’s decision.

One user, @DannerFoundati1, tweeted: “This is why we have flight attendants – they have a difficult job and do it well. @afa_cwa represents these hard working men and women whose primary job is to save our lives in the event of emergencies and not to serve us drinks and meals or to help stuff our luggage into overhead bins; we should be thankful they tolerate such nonsense and still have a sense of humour.”

Other users supported the flight attendant writing things like “she was just doing her job” and “they were super drunk so I don’t blame her.”

Other users, though, questioned why she was not equipped with a breathalyzer and also why the captain did not come out to assist her.
