Fans gush over similarities between King Charles and Prince Harry in unearthed photo

An unearthed photo has revealed resemblances between King Charles and Prince Harry.

Similarities amongst the Royal Family are regularly observed, especially when comparing photographs from the archives of parents and their children.

The childhood pictures of Princess Charlotte often highlight the shared features with her father, the Prince of Wales, and her late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.

To celebrate King Charles’s inaugural birthday parade, Trooping the Colour, which took place in June, the Royal Collection Trust posted a commemorative image.

Fans couldn’t help but recognise the resemblances between the picture of a two-year-old Prince Charles and his youngest son, Prince Harry.

In the photograph, Charles is seen riding in a carriage alongside his late grandmother, the Queen Mother, and his late aunt, Princess Margaret, during the 1951 Trooping the Colour event.

During that time, his mother, Elizabeth II, stood in for King George VI, who was unwell, to take the salute.

The young prince is seen sitting between his grandmother and his aunt, sporting a double-breasted collared coat and covered with a tartan blanket on his lap.

“Spitting image of Harry,” one Instagram user commented. “I thought the same!” a second agreed, reports HELLO!

“He looks like Prince Harry,” a third added.

In fact, when you compare images of Harry at a similar age, the resemblance between the two is quite evident.

Another photo displays an 18-month-old Harry dressed in a coat that bears a resemblance to the style worn by young Charles.

The young child is captured holding the hand of his late mother, Diana, Princess of Wales, as the family disembarks from an aircraft at Aberdeen airport on their way to Balmoral Castle.
