Evil Scarlett Jenkinson drew up 'kill list' of next targets after killing Brianna Ghey

Brianna Ghey’s sick murderer had a chilling second “kill list” of staff she intended to butcher at the secure youth accommodation she was being held in, a court was told.

Alongside Eddie Ratcliffe, Ghey was responsible for the death of Brianna, who they stabbed to death in a “frenzied and ferocious” attack.

The pair were today named as the killers during their sentencing hearing at Manchester Crown Court.

The court heard that Ghey had drawn up another list of people she intended to kill, which included staff at a secure youth accommodation she was being held in.

Prosecutor Deanna Heer KC said: “Another kill list was found at the secure unit which refers to names of people caring for her.”

Ms Heer also revealed to the court that Ghey was not considered to have a mental illness after an examination by Dr Richard Church, a consultant forensic psychiatrist.

However, she did present with a severe “conduct dissocial disorder with limited pro-social emotions”.

Ms Heer added: “In Scarlett’s case, she knew what she was doing was wrong and she knew it was very wrong.”

In conclusion, Dr Michael Crawford, another consultant forensic psychiatrist, concluded she had in fact a mild form of autism and selective mutism.

Alongside Ratcliffe, Jenkinson compiled a list of people on they wanted to kill which originally had four targets – including Brianna.

The pair became friends after striking up conversations about eyeliner. They also bonded in the school inclusion unit and outside the classroom on social media platforms such as WhatsApp and Instagram.

The kill list was formed of people the pair had minor dislikes for.

Jenkinson told Ratcliffe how people knew Brianna was depressed and anxious, and they first attempted to murder her with an overdose of tablets.

However, when this failed, Jenkinson persuaded Brianna to leave her Birchwood home and meet her and Ratcliffe in Linear Park in Culcheth.

Messages between the killers say Jenkinson wished to stab Brianna “just coz it’s fun lol… I want to see the pure horror on her face and hear her scream.

During the killers’ trial in November last year, other messages between Jenkinson and Ratcliffe were shared, including their plot to kill Brianna.

In one, Jenkinson told Ratcliffe that “if we get” their first victim “tomorrow we can kill Brianna”.

Ratcliffe replied: “Yeah, it’ll be easier and I want to see if it will scream like a man or a girl.”
