Contrary to expectations, it’s not the moon causing the eclipse but Trump’s unmistakable profile, complete with his iconic quiff and bushy eyebrows.

Amidst the darkness, a bold message flashes across the screen: “We will save America. And make it great again.”

This surreal imagery prompted bewilderment among some social media users, with one quipping, “So Trump getting ‘in front’ of Biden will plunge America into darkness? (You know. Just like an eclipse).”

This unconventional take on the solar eclipse is pretty on brand for Trump. In 2017, he went viral for disregarding safety precautions and staring directly at the sun during the solar eclipse, despite warnings of potential eye damage.

While Melania and Barron Trump adhered to safety guidelines by wearing eclipse glasses, Trump himself chose to observe the phenomenon with the naked eye.

Today’s eclipse, expected to last four minutes and 28 seconds, promises to be twice as long as the previous one in 2017.

However, forecasters are cautioning that severe weather could obstruct views across parts of the US, potentially dampening the experience for eager spectators.

Millions across the country are gearing up to witness the rare celestial event, with 44 million people estimated to be within the path of totality stretching from Mexico to Canada.
