Donald Trump LIVE: Ex-President to leave Ireland after labelling Meghan 'disrespectful'

Former US President Donald Trump is to leave Ireland after a whistle-stop visit to the country.

Mr Trump has made himself known in the UK and Ireland this week after he also touched down in Scotland to visit his Turnberry golf course.

While in Ireland, he said Ireland has done a good job “luring” US companies to the country.

Sources told the Irish Mirror that Mr Trump’s quick visit to Ireland would be the final leg before he returns to the US.

While in Scotland, Mr Trump spoke to Nigel Farage of GB News, slamming Meghan Markle for being “disrespectful” to the Queen and praising King Charles and Prime Minister Rishi Sunak for doing a “great job”.

His visit came as he faces a number of legal battles in the US, including a civil dispute in which he is accused of raping a journalist, allegations the former President denies.
