'Crazy plane lady' Tiffany Gomas finally apologises after epic meltdown goes viral

A woman whose epic plane meltdown video has gone viral in recent weeks finally broke her silence on the incident as she admitted her behaviour was “completely unacceptable.”

Tiffany Gomas was booted off an American Airlines flight from Dallas to Orland on July 2 after she started accusing a fellow passenger of stealing her AirPods and bizarrely claiming “that motherf***er is not real.”

In a video apology, Gomas conceded she should have controlled her emotions instead of raging at the other passenger and the plane staff.

She said: “Distressed or not, I should have been, I should have been in control of my emotions, and that was not the case.”

Gomas insisted she wants to take “full accountability for my actions” and said her new nickname of “crazy plane lady” is “completely warranted.”

In the clip shared with TMZ, she also urged viewers to join her efforts to promote “positive mental health and standing up against cyberbullying.”

She said: “My use of profanity was completely unnecessary, and I want to apologise to everyone on that plane, especially those that had children aboard.

“We all have our bad moments, um, some are far worse than others, and mine happened to be caught on camera for the whole world to see multiple times.

“Sorry, y’all. I hope that I can use this experience and do a little good in the world, and that is what I intend to do.”

She added: “I hope that you guys can accept my apology and I can begin to move on with my life.”

The viral video showed Gomas standing in the plane’s corridor as the aircraft was taxiing as she shouted: “You can sit on this plane and you can f****ng die with them or not. I’m not going to.”

She demanded pilots “stop the plane” and she was ultimately kicked off once the aircraft made it back to the gate.

Once off the plane, the Texas native allegedly refused to leave the boarding area and resumed her foul-mouthed rant while being escorted out of the terminal.

She also reportedly swore at police officers, warning them to “get the f**k out of my face” and claiming the plane would explode if allowed to depart.

Gomas was not formally charged for her conduct but was issued a verbal criminal trespass notice.
