Celebrate Aintree with great coverage and FREE William Hill bets every day of the festival

To celebrate this much anticipated three-day event in the racing calendar, we’ve teamed up with the meeting’s official betting partner William Hill to give you a free bet to place in-shop every day of the festival with your Express.

The world’s greatest steeplechase is back with the 2023 edition of the Grand National being run over the famous 4 miles and 2½ furlongs chase – and is the highlight of the jump racing calendar with recent Cheltenham Festival winner Corach Rambler (6/1) the bookmakers’ favourite ahead of last year’s winner Noble Yeats (8/1).

But there is plenty more high-class racing on offer over the three-day event with new fans’ favourite and star of Cheltenham, Constitution Hill, going in the Grade One Aintree Hurdle on day one.

The Nicky Henderson star won the Champion Hurdle by nine lengths last month and is rated at 1/4 to win the race which takes place on Thursday. The main rivals for this one will be Epatante (8/1) and Zanahyir (10/1), both of whom can be expected to put up a credible challenge despite underwhelming Cheltenham performances.

Also on day one, another Henderson favourite, Shishkin (11/4), will go up against Gold Cup stars Bravemansgame (11/4), Conflated (7/2) Ahoy Senor (3/1) and A Plus Tard (7/2) in the Aintree Bowl (14:50), which has already been dubbed a potential “race of the year”.

On day two, there will be lots more grade one action to enjoy, with the feature race slot being taken by the Marsh Chase.

This is a race which often has included those who did well in the Queen Mother Champion Chase a month earlier at Cheltenham. Race winner Energumene will not be making an appearance here, but Pic DOrhy (7/4) and Fakir Doudairies (9/4) are expected to engage in a titanic battle for victory.

So don’t miss out – pick up your Express on Thursday 13, Friday 14 and Saturday 15 April 2023 to get your hands on a FREE William Hill shop bet to make this event even more memorable.
