Buxton earthquake: Tremors recorded in Derbyshire town's tectonic activity


Tremors were recorded in the Derbyshire town of Buxton on Tuesday evening as a small rumble in tectonic activity was found.

According to the British Geological Survey, the tremors were recorded at around 5.30pm around one-and-a-half miles away from Buxton town centre.

However, the quake only registered 2.5 on the Richter scale, meaning it was little more than a slight shake.
