Bodmin murder LIVE: Killer jailed for nightclub brawl that saw rugby player stabbed


A man found guilty of murdering a rugby player in a mass brawl outside a nightclub in Devon faces life in jail.

Jake Hill, 25, stabbed Michael Riddiough-Allen, 32, outside the Eclipse Nightclub in Bodmin on April, 30 2023.

He was found guilty of murder at Truro Crown Court on March 14 and will be sentenced at the same court along with two others on Friday (April 12).

Chelsea Powell, 22, from Bodmin, was found not guilty of murder and manslaughter, but guilty of perverting the course of justice.

Tia Taylor, 22, also from Bodmin, initially denied three charges but pleaded guilty to manslaughter and perverting the course of justice.

Hill, from Bodmin, was also found guilty of stabbing four others, but not guilty of stabbing a sixth.
