Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has conceded during a meeting with Joe Biden that Russian mercenaries won the city of Bakhmut, saying: “There is nothing left of it.
During one-on-one meeting with the US President on the sidelines of the G7 summit in Japan, Mr Zelensky said: “Bakhmut is only in our hearts. There is nothing.
“You have to understand there is nothing left of it. They destroyed it,” before adding there was nothing there “but a lot of dead Russians”.
