Zara Tindall and Peter Phillips’s half-sister Stephanie Phillips has kept a relatively low profile despite her royal connections, even working at a local pub during her university days. Stephanie is the daughter of Princess Anne’s first husband Captain Mark Phillips and his second wife Sandy Pflueger. Like her sister, the 25-year-old is a keen equestrian rider and has been spotted at several royal events over the years.
The siblings appear to be closer than the royal relatives with Stephanie sharing pictures of the trio on social media.
Stephanie was a flower girl at Zara’s wedding to Mike Tindall and at Peter’s to Autumn Kelly. This was before the favour was returned, as both Zara and Peter’s children were bridesmaids at Stephenie’s wedding last year.
But despite being related to members of the Royal Family, Stephanie kept a low profile during her school days at the prestigious Dean Close School in Cheltenham, before studying business management at the University of Worcester.
To help fund the student lifestyle Stephanie even worked as a barmaid in a local pub.
Stephanie’s social media highlights her love for horses and riding, which she likely bonded with her half-sister over.
Zara became the first Royal Family member to win an Olympic medal after claiming silver with her team at the 2012 London Olympics.
Stephanie has competed at several competitions including Barbury International, Wellington Internation Horse Trials and the West Wilshire Trials.
In 2021 Stephanie announced her engagement to her boyfriend William Hosier.

Stephanie is sponsored by Voltaire Design, a high-end custom saddle company founded in Palm Beach, Florida.
The rider was raised on Aston Farm near the Gatcombe Park estate, Gloucestershire, not far from her siblings.
The 25-year-old also appears to enjoy travelling and a night out, sharing a photo of herself with Zara and Peter on New Year’s Eve several years ago.
One cute snap on social media shows Stephanie giving Mike Tindall a piggyback.
In another post, she described her older brother Peter as “the best big brother”.
