You’ve got the eyes of a pro hunter if you can spot the fox among the leaves in 10 seconds

Brainteasers are a great way to spend time on the morning commute or whilst in a waiting room, they’re often fun little tests to get the brain moving.

They can come in many different forms, they can be analytical, observational, or mathematical and come with a suite of challenges.

This brainteaser, by instantprint, is an example of an observational brainteaser. In the graphic above you have a sea of autumnal leaves.

Your task is to try and find the four animals hidden among the leaves, if you can you might have the eyes of a pro hunter.

More brainteasers and optical illusions are available here.

Did you spot the animals? No worries if not, the answers are above.

While brainteasers may seem like a quick distraction or way to kill time in the waiting room, they could be beneficial to your health.

In the same way running and cycling exercise the muscles in the legs, brainteasers help exercise the mind, helping to keep it sharper for longer.

The healthier the mind the less likely it could be to develop a neurological condition like dementia. This isn’t to say that brainteasers can stop someone from developing dementia, other factors can have a much bigger impact, but they could keep the brain fitter for longer.

Dementia is one of the UK’s biggest health crises with the number of cases in the UK rising every year and thousands of families left in mourning as they watch the person they once loved and knew fade from view.

To that end, researchers are edging ever closer to more effective treatments in the hope of one day developing a cure for the condition.
