Wimbledon crash driver which killed girl, 8, 'may have had seizure'

The Land Rover driver at the heart of the Wimbledon school crash investigation could have had a seizure before the incident, it is understood.

A source said the 46-year-old was found to be “delirious” and had bitten through her own tongue following the horror which killed an eight-year-old girl.

The car hit young Selena Lau who died at the scene and left another eight-year-old girl and a woman in her 40s in critical condition.

Police think the woman’s state after the crash supports the theory she had a medical episode before her Land Rover smashed through fencing and into The Study Prep School where an end-of-term tea party was taking place.
