Williams present 2024 F1 car livery as first pictures of new challenger released

Williams have revealed the livery for their 2024 challenger, the FW46, which is once again named in honour of legendary founder Sir Frank Williams. The Grove-based team have also unveiled a new partnership with Komatsu as part of the launch.

The legendary constructor’s 2024 livery continues the themes present with the FW45’s design, featuring prominent use of a striking dark blue colour scheme, and was revealed at PUMA’s flagship store in New York.

Sportswear giant PUMA will be providing Williams’ official team wear and fan wear for the 2024 season and beyond, marking the start of a new commercial partnership for the iconic organisation.

Speaking about Williams’ 2024 challenger and the upcoming campaign, team principal James Vowles said: “It is a significant milestone to unveil the 2024 livery at an iconic location in New York City.

“The FW46 has been the focus of the team for many months and there is still a tremendous effort going in from everyone at Grove to deliver our challenger for this year.

“As we look to build on the momentum from last season, we have a driver line-up in Alex and Logan that is capable of consistently fighting for points while helping lead our development for the future.

“Since joining Williams Racing a year ago, I’ve seen this team pull together to overcome a number of challenges and claim seventh in the Constructors’ Championship, which meant a great deal for everyone involved. We’ve also shown the world that we’re building the foundations for moving forward.”

Vowles took over as Williams team principal ahead of the 2023 campaign, replacing Jost Capito, and the former Mercedes chief strategist has made an instant impact.
