William and Kate are 'more romantically revealing than ever' as expert pinpoints key shift

Prince William and Princess Kate were more “emotionally revealing than ever” as they attended the Royal Variety Performance, a body language expert has said.

The Prince and Princess of Wales have had a difficult week following multiple claims made by author Omid Scobie in his latest bombshell book.

William and Kate stepped out in London last night, putting on a loving display as they arrived at the Royal Albert Hall amid a chaotic few days for The Firm.

Prince William was pictured hand in hand with Princess Kate, who stunned in a regally blue Safiyaa dress, while William looked dashing in a classic tuxedo with bow-tie.

Body language expert Judi James analysed snaps of the Prince and Princess of Wales, and told Express.co.uk that the couple appeared more romantic than ever.

She said: “William and Kate appear to have been more emotionally revealing than ever before in the face of claims in the Scobie book.

“Swerving the usual more reticent body language rituals they performed a much more openly romantic narrative, with William coming round the car to extend a hand for Kate to hold as she threw him a look of delight and gratitude.”

Judi James notes that the couple’s display was more intense than usual, with Prince William presenting his protective nature towards his wife.

“These poses are elegant and regal, with Kate looking dazzling in her bottle green dress, but their PDA’s are more intense and romantic than normal”, she said. “William seems to have decided to throw caution to the wind here and show the world the love and admiration he has for his wife, plus his desire to protect and cherish her.”

Prince William and Princess Kate chose not to comment on the growing fallout surrounding the publication of Omid Scobie’s Endgame book.

Earlier this week, Dutch copies of the book had to be pulled by the publisher after two royals were named, accused of being the royals who discussed Prince Archie’s skin colour.

Buckingham Palace is said to be “considering all options” following after two royals were implicated in Scobie’s Dutch publication of Endgame and accused of “unconscious racial bias”.

Scobie appeared on ITV’s This Morning earlier today and denied naming the royals caught up in the ‘race row’.

He insisted: “I have never submitted a book that had their names in it.”

Just as quickly as he denied submitting the names of the royals in his book, the Dutch translator of the publication hit back at the author’s claims that he had nothing to do with the names appearing in the Netherlands.

Saskia Peeters, the woman who translated the book from English to Dutch, said the names were already there. She told the MailOline: “As a translator, I translate what is in front of me.”
