Wetherspoon pubs across the UK are giving out golden straws worth £5,000 to a select number of lucky customers. But the drinkers need to be very specific in order to grab the cash on offer.
The promotion, in conjunction with Au Vodka, gives customers three opportunities to win.
They have to buy a pitcher of the vodka-based drink for a start in order to be in with a chance.
DJ Charlie Sloth told his followers on Instagram: “For your chance to win £5,000 this summer just go to a Wetherspoons pub and buy Au Vodka Candy Rosa.
“If you find the golden straw you win £5,000 and me personally delivering it to you.”
The brand revealed winners will be chosen at random by the drinks band who will pick pitchers at three Spoons location on three dates at three times.
One fan replied: “FFS. As if I needed an easy excuse to go!”
The popular chain, run by Tim Martin, is a staple of UK high streets.
