Wagner boss Prigozhin 'back in Russia' after fleeing to Belarus in wake of failed coup

Wagner founder Yevgeny Prigozhin appeared to have returned to Russia despite being effectively exiled to Belarus last month.

Prigozhin reached an agreement with Belarusian president Alexander Lukashenko to stand down his men after attempting to push Vladimir Putin into getting rid of his top military advisors.

Pictures emerged online on Thursday suggesting Prigozhin has since returned to Russia and is actively holding meetings with political leaders.

A photo purportedly taken in St. Petersburg allegedly showed him shaking hands with a representative from the Central African Republic.
