As Ukraine grapples with the ongoing conflict, the Ukrainian air force reported that Russia launched a fresh wave of attacks, including the deployment of 12 Shahed drones overnight.
Despite these assaults, Ukrainian forces managed to intercept nine of them. Russia also fired four missiles into eastern Ukraine, exacerbating the already tense situation.
The assault on Ukrainian energy infrastructure has also intensified, with the Zmiiv Thermal Power Plant in the eastern Kharkiv region being completely destroyed following Russian shelling last week.
