Vladimir Putin shamed as former general refutes claims on Russia's missile 'superiority'

Baluyevsky’s comments come as speculation about the confines of the war in Ukraine extending into NATO territory grows.

Top NATO official Adml Rob Bauer last month warned civilians should prepare for all-out war with Russia to begin in the next 20 years.

Former Russian President Dmitri Medvedev dismissed the suggestion as “dangerous chatter.”

But he warned Moscow would be ready to confront the alliance, saying that “ballistic and cruise missiles with special warheads will be used to protect the territorial integrity of our country.”

Medvedev added that the conflict would spell “the end of everything.”
