Vladimir Putin’s forces targeted a hospital in Kherson Oblast, Ukraine in a sadistic attack which injured two medical workers.
Shocking video shows the moment Russian bombs impacted the hospital in Beryslav, causing a massive explosion.
Kherson Governor Oleksandr Prokudin reported the October 5 shelling on Telegram.
He said: “The fourth floor was completely destroyed, another floor was partially destroyed. Emergency vehicles were also damaged by enemy fire.
“Two medical workers were injured. The driver of the ambulance suffered a broken leg and head injury, the paramedic received a concussion.”
Beryslav, a town on the Ukrainian-held side of the Dnipro River, was targeted by five Russian airstrikes an hour before the hospital strike was reported.
The news comes after at least 51 people were killed by what Kyiv said was a Russian missile hitting a grocery store and café in the northeast Kharkiv region.
Horrific photos taken at the scene of that attack show rescuers attempting to recover victims as well as numerous people who were killed by the blast.
Ukraine’s President Zelensky called the strike a “terrorist” attack and promised a “powerful” response.
He said: “My condolences to all those who have lost their loved-ones! Help is being provided to the wounded.
“Russian terror must be stopped. Anyone who helps Russia circumvent sanctions is a criminal.”
The strike hit the village of Hroza, in Kharkiv’s Kupyansk district, which had a pre-war population of around 500.
A six-year-old boy was thought to be among the dozens of dead in that strike.
