A major disturbance at Victoria Station has caused travel chaos during rush hour as “a serious fault” was found with signalling equipment.
All Southeastern lines in and out of Victoria Station have been closed off and as a result no trains are able to operate in or out.
Commuters are set to face “major disruption” for the rest of the day, National Rail said.
Passengers have fumed over the chaos as they have been instructed to find alternative routes out of London.
The affected routes include those connecting London Victoria with Dartford, Ashford International, Dover Priory, Gillingham, and Orpington.
