Vicious puppy attack caught on doorbell camera as man repeatedly strikes dog

A man has been caught on camera as he repeatedly attacks a puppy while on a walk. The incident is believed to have taken place on Friday in Hanley, Staffordshire.

The distressing moment was captured on a doorbell, with the man seen to be walking a bulldog-type breed on a lead along a pavement, reported Mirror.

However, when the little pet stops in its tracks, the apparent owner flies into a rage.

The man can be heard saying: “No, come on, come here!”

He then tugs hard on the lead and strikes the dog in the head before it begins screeching in pain.

The man hits it several more times as it continues to scream and he shouts: “Move!”

They go out of frame but the dog can still be heard crying, then the man appears walking the other way.

This time he is carrying the dog and says: “He can f*** off.”

The RSPCA has confirmed it has received a report about the footage.

A spokesperson from the RSPCA told the Mirror: “We are aware of this and are looking into it. As such, we are unable to comment further at this time.

“We are grateful to people who report suspected animal suffering to us and we would like to reassure people we will always look into and, if necessary, investigate any complaints made to us about animal welfare.”

The RSPCA confirmed there were no further updates at this time.
