A US politician has been fatally shot just yards away from her home, authorities have revealed.
Eunice Dwumfour, a councilwoman in New Jersey, was hit while inside her white SUV.
The vehicle appeared to have subsequently crashed on Samuel Circle at 7.22pm (12.22am) on Wednesday.
