US base in Syria targeted by Iraqi terrorist militia rockets as major escalation looms

The US base at Conoco oil fields in the Deir Ezzor Governorate, Syria was targeted by a missile on Monday morning.

The attack marked the event of such attacks on US targets across the Middle East on the same day.

An Iraqi pro-militia outlet claimed on Telegram that the base was struck by a missile.

In the translated post, they claimed: “A missile attack targeted the Koniko gas field base of the American occupation army in the northeastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor.”

US bases and infrastructure around the region have been heavily targeted since Israel declared war on Hamas on October 8.
