Royal fans have all been saying the same thing after a never-before-seen picture of Princess Diana was released.
The late Princess of Wales’s brother, Charles Spencer, took to Instagram to share a sweet throwback photo of the siblings with their mum back in 1967.
In the picture, Charles can be seen on a garden swing, with Diana standing by his side and mum Frances behind them pushing the swing.
Earl Spencer was three years old at the time, and the late Princess Diana around six, while their mother was 31.
Charles Spencer captioned the heartwarming post: “My mother, Diana and I, in 1967. I would have been three, and Diana five or six. I love how happy each of us looks.”
He added: “At this stage of my life, my mother nicknamed me ‘Buzz’ – because she saw me as having the endless energy of a rather happy – and busy – bee.”
Royal fans were quick to spot Diana’s striking resemblance with her granddaughter, Princess Charlotte.
One user rushed to comment on the post: “Diana looks just like Charlotte. Great memory!” while another one said: “Princess Charlotte look like Princess Diana [heart emoji](sic)”.
A third chimed in: “You can really see Princess Charlotte in Diana in this photo!”
A fourth user wrote: “Princess Charlotte is the spitting image of Lady Diana. The memory of your wonderful sister lives on.”
A fifth one agreed: “Wow! Charlotte looks just like Diana here. Same face! Wow!”
