Unlikely royal puts on 'biggest show of resilience' as Endgame chaos continues to unfold

The royal family has put on a show of unity and resilience after a bombshell book reignited racism rumours – with one member looking more defiant than the rest. King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince William and Princess Kate attended the Diplomatic Corps reception, posing for pictures at the white tie and tiara event.

It comes as the royal family deals with the fallout of Omid Scobie’s bombshell book Endgame. In the Dutch translation of the book, two members of the family were named in error as allegedly having conversations about the skin colour of Prince Archie, the son of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

The Daily Express has chosen not to name the two members of The Firm at the heart of the alleged ‘royal racism’ scandal. And body language expert Judi James said it was an unlikely royal who has put on the greatest show of resilience since the allegations came to light – and that is Queen Camilla.

She told the Mirror: “Camilla’s facial expression and smile have the greatest impact here.”

She added: “She tends to look nervous or passive when with her husband and his glamorous son and daughter-in-law but here her facial expression is the most active, picking her out as the strongest in terms of emotion and resilience.

“Her eyes communicate directly with the camera and the way they are curved into a crescent shape suggests an authentic good mood and a possible gleam of new confidence.”

Comparing Queen Camilla to Prince William and Princess Kate, the renowned body language expert added that while the Wales’s expressions appear “regal but passive”, the Queen Camilla’s smile seems “more active” and promotes a resilient appearance with ease.

King Charles is “distracted” – as Ms James noted he was the only one of the four who was not looking into the camera when the shot was taken. And Prince William appears the most tense in the picture, she claims.

She said: “The body poses and subtle angles here do confirm the idea of continuing unity. Charles and his eldest son stand side by side and their mirrored inward head tilts would signal aligned thinking and a sense of taking an agreed stance.

“Camilla and Kate are both close to their husbands, tucked in slightly behind Charles and William in another mirrored signal of support.”

She added that the Prince and Princess of Wales “mirror” each other’s poses, while insisting that despite Prince William appearing optimistic, he has also acquired a “clenched teeth” trait which signals he is feeling tense or even angry.
