ULEZ protestors camp outside Sadiq Khan's home in fury at car tax

Anti-ULEZ protestors have flocked to Sadiq Khan’s house to stage a demonstration against new plans to extend the dreaded charging zone.

Fuming drivers set up tents and signs outside the Mayor of London’s home – and brought a caravan with the words “sack Khan” etched onto it.

The Action Against ULEZ group were out in force with members in hi-vis jackets on standby to make their intentions known.

Signs outside Khan’s home in Tooting, South London, branded him “a liar” and warned motorists to “stop the toxic air life”.

Others branded ULEZ cameras designed to catch drivers out as “scameras” and demanded Khan to step down as Mayor of London.

Protestors set up tents and launched a hunger strike in retaliation to the expansion of the dreaded ULEZ zone on August 29.

In a post on Twitter, the group humorously described the protest as a street party and asked for anyone to ‘get down here and join the fun’.
