Ukraine soldiers make huge rotation error allowing Russians to advance: 'They 'f***** off'

A huge error from Ukrainian forces has allowed Russian troops to advance five miles unopposed, according to reports.

Mykola Melnyk, a company commander who lost a leg during the summer offensive last year, described how a rotation error asw Ukrainian soldiers “f*** off” from their positions.

He said: “The Russians yesterday were on the outskirts of Ocheretyne. The drastic advancement of the Russians became possible because certain units just f—ed off positions.

“Hope they get trained and retrained into stormtroopers.”

He added: “The holes that turned out to be clogged by those who were planning to take recovery. The 47th brigade is back in business. Another month and there will be a year without rotation.”

This comes as Moscow claims Ukrainian troops retreated from the Ocheretyne area due to Russian fire.

Russia is launching its offensive this year, hoping to reclaim much of the territory it lost in 2022.

Ukraine has been boosted by the news that the US’ £49billion’s worth of aid has been passed and could begin to arrive this week.

But, while Kyiv waits for more supplies, there are fears Moscow’s soldiers will continue to make more gains.

Ukraine’s regional armed forces HQ admitted the situation is tough on the frontline. It said the Russians were using an “entire arsenal of weapons against our units” and even accused Moscow of using chemical weapons.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has warned that Russia could even take control of Ukraine’s second-biggest city, Kharkiv.

Earlier this week, he said: “Kharkiv is one of the capitals of Ukraine, so it has great symbolic meaning.”

He added that Russia could start a summer offensive as early as late May, adding: “We will prepare for their assault.

“We have to be prepared. And Russians must see that we are ready to defend ourselves.”

US think tank the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) said on Wednesday: “A Russian ground operation against Kharkiv in the very near future is unlikely, but Russian efforts to create strategic reserves and reposition forces in the theater could allow Russian forces to launch an offensive toward the city in the summer.”
