Weather maps have revealed when a 200-mile snow bomb will arrive, blanketing the UK in wintery weather next week.
WXCharts has forecast snow to move over the UK at around 6am on February 7. It will mainly be in the top half of Scotland, from the north coast to Aberdeen and Glencoe.
The wintery weather will also hit England, with snow expected to stretch from Newcastle down to Birmingham, and spread across the breadth of the country.
There will be some rain along the East of England and the south coast, focused on Kent and over Southampton.
Temperatures will be below freezing across Scotland and into north England and Northern Ireland, between -4C and 0C. In the midlands and Wales it will be between 0C and 5C with temperatures of up to 10C along the south coast.

Tonight it will be cloudy in the south with some clear intervals and patchy drizzle in the west. Persistent rain will continue across western Scotland, turning heavier with snow possible in the north. It will stay mild for many with brisk winds and cloudy skies.
Tomorrow will see persistent and heavy rain across northwestern Scotland, turning wintry at times. Elsewhere, it will be cloudy with patchy drizzle over western hills and occasional brighter spells in the east.
Wet and windy weather will move southeast on Tuesday, becoming brighter on Wednesday but colder from the north. Further rain arriving on Thursday, perhaps turning wintry in the north.

Into the second week of February, there is a risk of some significant snowfall for parts of the UK, with central areas most prone to this.
It will be cold throughout with snow showers tending to focus on northeastern areas while for the far south the period may start of with some rain and near average temperatures, before the cold air reaches here by the start of next week.
It will be windy at times, especially in eastern areas where a wind chill is expected. Temperatures ranging from rather mild in the south at first, to very cold in the north.
