UFC star Sean Strickland wants to 'take Jake Paul's life' after £1m fight offer

Sean Strickland has thrown down a challenge to Jake Paul, suggesting they stage their £1m fight in the desert. The bad blood has spiralled after Paul recently called Strickland out online, labelling him “an embarrassment” for how he sparred with YouTuber Sneako.

Paul taunted his rival on social media: “Shawn Strickland you’re embarrassing for trying to stop sneako like that.

“You’re a horrid boxer that only picks on inexperienced people.. I’ll fly you to [Puerto Rico, where Paul fights early next month] and we can fight on camera… if you win I’ll give you £1 million (half your net worth).

“But if you get dropped you have to get Betr [the name of Paul’s sports betting app] tattooed on you. DM me. But just like [Paddy Pimblett] I’m guessing you’ll find a way to run.”

Strickland hit back by mentioning Paul’s loss to Tommy Fury, but appeared to agree to the fight.

Paul went on to add: “I hate bullies. I was bullied and then was the bully sometimes in my YouTuber days. But now all my energy is focused on Boxing Bullies and helping the youth.” He continued, “But when I see someone like Strickland constantly bullying people, it’s time to bully back.”

As the war of words heated, Strickland published a series of posts.

He said: “Real talk… jokes aside.. Jake Paul is an utter f***ing joke….. You box small retired old MMA fighters and you sell sugar water to kids.. If it were legal I’d take your f***ing life with a smile on my face. Is there any place on this earth I can take this man’s life and walk?

Strickland continued: “Actually Jake I’ll make you a better deal because money can’t buy happiness and you have plenty of it and youre still a c**t……. No cameras, me and you in a desert…. That would buy my happiness… No Instagram, no likes, no games…. Just you that’s what I want…….”

A third post, in reply to another X user proposing they fight in “The Kumite,” from the 1988 movie “Bloodsport,” he added: “I wish we can go back to the days were s**t people would just die……”

“Our founding fathers would of murdered him long ago legally. Instead you have to listen to them talk on Twitter across the country.” Paul later replied to the counteroffer. “Thanks for admitting I would make easy work of you in the boxing ring and ducking the offer… just like paddy…”

“Now I will let you continue your meltdown,” he added. Strickland shared two more posts about Paul, which drew one last response from him.

Paul replied: “Constantly talking about killing people, calling them scumbags or wishing them to die bc they don’t agree with your opinion reeks of insecurity, not of being a confident man. Be betr buddy.”
