Two Tennessee National Guardsmen were killed in a horrific helicopter crash near a highway. When emergency services arrived, the helicopter was completely engulfed in flames.
Due to the amount of helicopters operating in the area, it took authorities some time to identify who the Blackhawk belonged to.
“We are deeply saddened by the loss of Two Tennessee National Guardsmen, and our prayers are with their families during this heart-breaking tragedy,” Brigadier General Warner Ross said a statement. “We ask Tennesseans to join us in supporting their families during this time of unthinkable grief.”
