Momodou Sonko, the young Swedish winger linked with Liverpool, has teased a potential switch to Anfield. Sonko says many of his friends want him to join the Reds.
It has been claimed the Hacken forward has been watched by Liverpool this year. And speaking to Sportbladet, Sonko has said he’d be delighting some of his pals if he moved to Merseyside.
“I have some who are Liverpool fans and some Barca fans. They want me to go to the club they support. It’s kind of funny.
“I get a lot written to me from my friends. It’s fun at first but it can be too much too.”
Asked what he’d do if Jurgen Klopp called him, the 18-year-old said: “If he were to call privately, I would laugh. It is quite unlikely.
“It is easier for him to reach my agents than me. I haven’t received that call anyway.”
Sportbladet say left-sided attacker Sonko will cost somewhere between £6m and £7.7m when he comes to leave Hacken.
