Chelsea are reportedly ‘ready’ to activate the release clause inserted in Victor Osimhen’s contract this summer.
The Nigeria international penned a new deal with Napoli recently but would not put pen to paper unless an exit clause was included in the contract.
According to Il Mattino, Chelsea have not been deterred by the clause, worth £103million, and instead intend on matching the figure at the end of the season.
Osimhen has also been linked with other top Premier League clubs, but the Blues are hopeful of striking early to get a deal over the line.
