Manchester United have joined the race to sign Chelsea target Martin Braithwaite, reports Marca.
The Espanyol star, who has enjoyed spells at Barcelona and Middlesbrough, has scored 12 goals in 22 appearances in the La Liga 2 so far this season and is available for just £5.9million due to the release clause in his contract.
Both United and Chelsea are keen to sign a striker before the end of the transfer window, and a cut-price veteran could be viewed as a simple option to hold down the fort until the summer when marquee forwards can be targeted.
