Transfer news LIVE: Greenwood 'huge transfer', Man Utd want four signings, Liverpool snub

The winter transfer window is still over a month away but the rumour mill is already churning. Expectations heading into January are that Premier League clubs will be active in the market, especially Manchester United.

The Red Devils are reportedly looking to strengthen in four positions, particularly defensive midfielder with Erik ten Hag said to be underwhelmed by Sofyan Amrabat’s contributions so far. Meanwhile, Arsenal are looking to overhaul their midfield with Thomas Partey expected to be replaced in the New Year.

The Ghanaian midfielder is linked with a move to Saudi Arabia while the Gunners are hoping to bring in Aston Villa’s Douglas Luiz in his place. Liverpool may not be getting their top midfield target though. Bayern Munich are favourites to sign highly-rated Bayer Leverkusen star Florian Wirtz ahead of Liverpool, who had been weighing up an offer.
