Tourists spooked after spotting ghostly face smiling at them in UK museum carriage

A ghostly apparition caught on camera has left tourists spooked after visitor Zoe Callow captured a “child doll” smiling at her.

While visiting York Castle Museum, which is known as a hotspot for paranormal activity, ghost hunter Zoe took a picture of a Victorian street scene recreation and became the latest visitor to have been spooked by an eerie presence.

The paranormal investigator, who runs Gwynedd Paranormal Investigations said she never felt anything strange on the day out itself and was just enjoying her day out with her ghost hunting group.

But after returning home a fellow ghost hunter alerted her to what could be seen in the photo she took – a spectral face in the middle of the image.

Ms Callow, 52, said: “We were in the Victorian Street part of the museum, there were not many visitors and I was taking a lot of pictures as I walked around the exhibits.
