Tottenham star James Maddison's great response after Bukayo Saka mocked him

Tottenham star James Maddison has hilariously trash-talked Bukayo Saka after the Arsenal star mocked his celebration in the North London Derby. Maddison has celebrated his goals this season by miming throwing a dart, prompting Saka to do so when he struck against Spurs on Sunday.

Saka’s deflected strike gave Arsenal the lead at the Emirates Stadium. He celebrated by running to the corner and pretending to throw a dart into the camera.

After Son Heung-min equalised for Spurs, Saka scored a penalty to put Arsenal 2-1 ahead. He did the same celebration, in an apparent jibe at England team-mate Maddison.

The Spurs playmaker has now revealed that the pair ‘trash-talked’ on international duty. He joked that Saka was still doing the celebration when he allowed Maddison to turn past him before setting up his side’s first goal for Son.

“Me and Bukayo had a bit of banter and a bit of trash talk while on international duty. I got told that he did the darts celebration,” Maddison told Spurs TV.

“He must have still been doing it when I turned him for the first goal, I think. I’ll have a little word with him when I’m back in there.”
