Tottenham icon Pat Jennings collapses at Chelsea match and rushed to hospital


Tottenham icon Pat Jennings was reportedly taken to hospital after collapsing prior to Spurs’ Premier League defeat by Chelsea on Monday. The former goalkeeper, who also enjoyed eight years with north London rivals Arsenal, is claimed to have been taken to a local hospital after falling ill at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

It is reported that Jennings fell ill prior to watching Spurs’ clash with rivals Chelsea. The 78-year-old supposedly collapsed and was seen by stadium medics.

Jennings was then taken to a local hospital where he received further medical care. According to the Daily Mail, the Northern Ireland legend is said to have been feeling better later on Monday night.
