Toto Wolff calls for FIA to 'set the compass right' and investigate Christian Horner

“I’m very proud that we are at the forefront of that. To judge about another person or another team, it’s the governing body that needs to do that. They have it in their hand. And this is probably where we need to look at.”

FIA chief Ben Sulayem did admit that the furore surrounding Horner and Red Bull was “damaging the sport” but after meeting with Horner, confirmed that the governing body would not launch their own investigation after Red Bull.

“It’s damaging the sport … this is damaging on a human level,” Ben Sulayem said. “It is the beginning of the season. F1 is becoming so popular. We just need to enjoy the beginning of the season. Look at the competition. Why do we overshadow it with negativity?”
