Tom Cruise's daughter Bella turned down his £342k-a-month penthouse to live in Croydon

Tom Cruise’s daughter, Bella, has chosen a quiet life in Croydon over her father’s luxurious penthouse. Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, once one of the world’s most famous couples, are both incredibly wealthy.

However, their daughter Bella seems to prefer a simpler lifestyle in London. She reportedly declined her dad’s offer of a £342,000-a-month penthouse.

Isabella Kidman Cruise, 29, lives in South London with her British husband Max Parker and their pet reptile. According to MyLondon, Bella turned down the chance to live in her father’s expensive London penthouse in 2020. Instead, she chose to stay out of the limelight, preferring life in South London over Hollywood.

Her father, the star of Top Gun, reportedly owns a property at the historic Corinthia Residences in the city. This four-bedroom home boasts an indoor pool and stunning views of the cityscape, just a stone’s throw from 10 Downing Street.

Bella and her husband Max moved to Croydon in October 2017 to be near Max’s parents, according to reports. The pair tied the knot in 2015, a year after they met through friends. A neighbour named Emma said of Bella: “I wouldn’t have recognised her even if she’d walked right up to me. I don’t follow celebrity news.

“They keep some sort of reptile – we can see the red light from its tank. That’s all anyone seems to know. She’s quite secretive. Maybe she wants to stay out of the limelight. I’m not sure why she picked Croydon, poor thing!”

Tom and Nicole adopted Bella in 1992, and three years later they adopted her younger biological brother, Connor Cruise.
