TikTok prankster charged after clip went viral of people entering homes without permission

A teenager is scheduled to appear in court today in connection with a series of apparent Tik Tok pranks including one in which a man was shown entering a private home uninvited. Bacari-Bronze O’Garro, 18, of Manor Road, Hackney was last night charged with failing to comply with a Community Protection Notice.

He will appear in custody at Thames Magistrates’ Court this morning.

The charge follows an investigation into social media footage posted online, police confirmed.

Detective Chief Superintendent James Conway, of the Central East Command Unit, responsible for policing in Hackney and Tower Hamlets, said:“Understandably there has been extensive comment on this case in the media and on social media.

“Now that an individual has been charged, I would ask that the judicial process be respected and allowed to take its proper course.”

Other clips included ones in which an individual seemingly enters a man’s car claiming it is “his Uber”, as well as pestering people on a train, ripping up books in a library and riding an e-bike through Sainsbury’s.
