Three-year-old girl raped and murdered after 'mum sold her for £10 of crack'

A three-year-old girl was raped and murdered after her mum allegedly handed her over to a drug dealer in return for crack cocaine.

Chilling surveillance footage shows the helpless child’s final moments before she was carried off by a drug dealer before being found raped and murdered.

Aurelia Salinas allegedly let the drug dealer take away her daughter Luz Maida in return for PYG 100,000 (£10) of crack cocaine.

After the sick exchange, the three-year-old was never seen again.

Then, on April 22, her mutilated body was discovered by locals in Pedro Juan Caballero, a city in Paraguay that borders Brazil.

Her tiny corpse was discovered draped in a shirt on top of a bed in an abandoned house.

The disturbing CCTV footage shows Luz being carried away from her home by the dealer her mother had swapped her for a paltry 30 pieces of crack.

As he makes his way down a broken-down track, the man carries Luz in one arm and apparently slaps her with the other trying to stop her wriggling.

Learning of the child’s grim fate, locals reportedly tried to lynch her mother, Aurelia Salinas, 42, as she was being arrested after allegedly confessing to police.

Investigators said the family had a “history of tragedies.”

Salinas has seven other children, including one 12-year-old girl she allegedly allowed to be sexually abused by a 30-year-old man.

Both cases are currently under investigation.
